DISCUSSION:
Upcoming winter river runs.
1) Santiam - 12/5/2009
- River Level and Weather Dependant
2) Clackamas
-Tentatively Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend, 11/26/2009
-Dependent on river levels above 12.5ft at Estacada
3) McKenzie
-New Years Day or the Day after.
-Dependent on river levels and weather..
4) Rogue
- Official run date Saturday, February 20th
-Most people will be staying at Jot’s Resort in Gold Beach.
2010 Boat Show/Sportsman Show
Dennis Gross reported that the boat show has been limited to 2 Buildings only for 2010 and we don’t know if a spot will be available, it is going to be last minute as to whether it happens or not.
Club Elections for 2010 officers
Besides the normal officer positions, several BOD positions are in need of re-election. It was suggested that we informally try to get at least one BOD member from each regional area that the WWAPC represents. These regions for now will be, PDX, Mid-Valley, and Southern Oregon.
Nominations made at the meeting are as follows

Busted Bottom Award
It was decided that the busted bottom award will be awarded to any member that had a slight mishap when two or more club members were present. Based on the multi-year history of the club and this being the first year the award is available, incidents that have occurred since the clubs inception will be eligible for nomination. The voting will be on the forum by use of a poll that Rich Spofford will set-up.
2009 WWAPC Christmas Party
Saturday December 12th, 2009 at 7:00 PM
Hosted by Mark and Nancy at their house in Hillsboro, Oregon.
Potluck style dinner.
Mark will post directions and details on the forum shortly.

Tree Planting on the Deschutes River
Mark David was contacted by the forest service about the possibility of the group planting trees on the Deschutes River this year in lieu of the normal weed eradication. The consensus of the group was that if they need the help we should do both projects.
River Mile Signs
Dennis Gross brought up the river mile sign project that we had been discussing last year with some local agencies in the mid-valley. The project was put on hold last year because of resistance met from the original group that started this project and never followed through. Matt Peltier reported that we still have all of the paperwork including the permissions from property owners on the Willamette between Albany and Corvallis. The group decided that this project is worth pursuing further and decided to contact the OSMB and get some quotes on the cost to produce the signs.
PDX River Clean-Up
Dennis Gross proposed that we should have a river clean-up day in the PDX area on the Willamette. The group agreed that this would be a worthwhile project and Dennis said he would figure out timing and details and report to the group at a later date.
ACTIONS:
Allen Huskey is going to contact Dale Ainsworth to make sure that he is willing and able to fill one of the BOD positions.
Rich Spofford will start a thread on the forum and poll for the busted bottom award nominations and voting.
